Petrol Prices

One of the problems with typing most of the text of the blog on an iPad while on the road, i.e. without access to wi-fi, is that I don't always remeber what I wanted to add when I have wi-fi access. Yesterday I wanted to calculte the price of petrol back into UK speak.
Knowing my sister, the accountant, she may well have done it already, but here is my calculation: 8.183 US Gallon = 30.976 litres - $30.76 = £19.03 therefore petrol is 62p per litre compared to £1.30 we paid last time at home.
The American's think their petrol (gas) is expensive!!
